Central Statistical Bureau calendar-adjusted data at constant prices, published on 4 December, show that in October 2025, industrial production output increased by 8.8 % year-on-year.

Output in manufacturing as well as in electricity and gas supply rose by 9.5 % and 10.1 %, respectively, while in mining and quarrying it reduced by 16.1 %.

Increased industrial production output was recorded in all three largest manufacturing sectors: in the manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture, it grew by 7.0 %, in the manufacture of food products by 12.9 %, and in the manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment by 12.7 %. Increased output was also observed in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (up by 32.4 %), manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (29.2 %), manufacture of machinery and equipment (16.1 %), manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (10.6 %), manufacture of electrical equipment (9.4 %), and manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (7.9 %). However, reduction was recorded in the manufacture of beverages (down by 6.7 %), printing and reproduction of recorded media (3.3 %), and the manufacture of furniture (2.8 %).

Month-on-month, industrial production output increased by 1.4 % (seasonally adjusted data at constant prices). Output in manufacturing rose by 0.8 %, in electricity and gas supply by 6.5 %, and in mining and quarrying by 21.9 %.

Year-on-year, manufacturing turnover increased by 10.8 % (calendar adjusted data at current prices). Turnover on domestic market went up by 12.5 % and on non-domestic market it grew by 9.8 % (of which rise of 13.9 % in euro area and of 6.4 % in non-euro area).

Month-on-month, manufacturing turnover increased by 0.8 % (seasonally adjusted data). Turnover on domestic market went up by 2.4 % and on non-domestic market it went down by 0.1 % (of which decline of 1.1 % in euro area and rise of 0.8 % in non-euro area).
