4. Trump will be mad for a while, and every time Trump is mad at Putin Europe thinks Trump is on their side now and they lean back and do nothing.

5. The longer Putin can keep the West disunited and on the fence with their Ukraine support, the more time Russia has to adapt to the new realities of boycotts and embargos. Every week he buys by keeping Trump addled is a week that production volumes increase.

   Look at Iran… a nation that was isolated in 1980 due to the revolution. It had no domestic military industry. Today, Iran can manufacture a lot of its own gear. It can even be an exporter of equipment now… notable missiles and drones. Iran overcame its isolation. Russia will too. Russia is better equipped to do so.

   Being cut off from markets is only a temporary pain. The longer the Putin can delay western unity on Ukraine, the more surefooted his domestic arms production becomes. Russian industry has a head start in production capacity vs the military industry of the West.

6. If Trump wants peace, it would come quicker providing arms to Ukraine than appeasing Russia.

7. These morons are leading the world a place it cannot go. Business doesn’t want to invest in russia and russia doesn’t want American demands and questions on russian Land by foreign investors. There is no partnership, there is no profit to be made. Ending the war like this will only harm Ukraine. On the flip side, Ukraine welcomes western investment and will have a lot of investment opportunities after the war, using russian capital to rebuild and investors will directly benefit and own real property on the cheap. There’s ample opportunity in Ukraine and realistically none in russia but these dimwits have it completely backwards and think they are smarter than everyone, so the world continues to suffer. Fucking frustrating to watch.

9. To me all these Krasnov and Putler negociation dance it’s fake. Meanwhile the murican aid has stopped completly and they only sell overpriced weapons to NATO. What Krasnov si looking to do is stop intelligence sharing without blowback and that’s why these “negociations” happen. He’s looking to find a reason and blame Ukraine for not wanting peace.
