Analysing the most recent search data and average accommodation prices throughout December, with special attention to the public holiday on Monday, 8 December, Holidu reveals the main choices of Portuguese travellers and, among the conclusions, Portugal dominates with five destinations in the ranking.
Among the most sought-after destinations in Portugal for the holiday, Lisbon leads with 2313 searches and an average price of €174 per night. Porto comes in second place with 2178 searches and an average price of €125. Albufeira occupies third place, with 799 searches and an average price of €132 per night, while Sintra, with 456 searches and an average price of €125, remains among the favorites, and Óbidos closes the top five, registering 315 searches and an average price of €135 per night.
Among international cities, Edinburgh stands out as the most expensive destination with an average price of €368, followed by Paris with €342, Colmar with €340, London with €330 and Strasbourg with €295.
