I suspect her team had really honed in on the fact that her increasing unpopularity with the broader audience, and the lack of financial support by the consumer group she seems to be targeting not going to see her movies, means that she’s losing future income potential.

    So they and she are both now trying to reverse course. Basically it’s all to try and save her career.
