The disgraceful and wretched system of the velayat-e faqih (absolute clerical rule) cannot survive for a single day without torture, execution, and massacres. The clerical regime, which holds the record for executions in the 21st century, must be ostracized by the international community, and its leaders must be brought to justice. The Iranian Resistance calls on the United Nations and its relevant bodies, the European Union, and its member states to take urgent action to save the lives of prisoners on death row.
