Reigning European champion Spain will begin its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign on June 15, when it takes on Cape in Atlanta.
Spain, considered by many to be the title favourites, will then face Saudi Arabia and Uruguay to wind up its Group H engagements.

La Roja secured direct qualification into the World Cup with a 2-2 draw with Turkey in the last round of qualifiers and will be playing in its 17th World Cup.
The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup will begin with co-host Mexico taking on South Africa in a Group A clash at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico on June 11.
The 2026 World Cup will feature 48 teams, making it the biggest iteration of the tournament.
The increased number of teams also introduce an additional round. The top two teams from each group, along with the best eight third-ranked sides will advance into the round of 32.
