That gives the impression as if NATO has more troops in the baltics than Russia close to the border. While in reality the NATO numbers in the Baltics are tiny compared to what Russia has close to its western borders.
*war in Afghanistan ends*
Welp, we need another war
Thats not a very good graphical representation of the military deployment, in particular how massively outnumbered Nato forces in the baltics are.
I get it, its mostly just meant a summary of important events, but the maps itself isnt conveying any useful information, its actually rather misleading.
How do british people feel about being ready to die for the Baltic/eastern european states, having made such a big deal about not giving them EU social cohesion money?
Or are they considered completely separated things?
“British troops to give advice on building fences” – not that I question their abilities really but sounds a bit funny as they come from an isolated island lol
Kome smeta jaka Srbija? Mi imamo prijatelje i na istoku i na zapadu.
Can you leave poland alone? FOR FIVE MINUTES?!

Okay, so while 13 and 14 are an obvious occupation, 3 is just horrible, absurd and without a clear goal, the Baltics are training as anyone should, especially on the alliance border… what is the rest supposed to show, specifically why are Serbia, Bosnia and N.Macedonia mentioned in this graphic at all?
– Serbia had drills with Russia yes, it declared itself neutral, it had drills with Nato countries also, Bulgaria only a month ago for example. This mention looks just like somebody wants you to think Serbia is against Nato, i.e. all of it’s neighbours?
– N.Macedonia being a new Nato country, why is it supprising a rival is directing propaganda at it? That is happenening everywhere, why is it only mentioned for this country?
– Lastly what is the point with saying that about B&H? Yes, Bosnia is a multi-ethnic republic, you might add: being forced to stay together (unlike Serbia, the multi-ethnic country who is being forced to split apart, so the following also goes for Serbia). Russia is not making up the split, it is using what influence it’s got to sell more of it’s products, and maintaining that influence with the same propaganda as everywhere else. But that doesn’t make Bosnia or Serbia the other side of that front in the title, which is what it looks like this post is trying to say.
Serbia also had exercise with turkey and Bulgaria recently who are both part of NATO and you haven’t put it here. And Situation in Bosnia is more complex then just oh they want new war blah blah blah blah.( In short Dodik is losing support and wants to get some cheap point by saying that srpska should return it’s 2004 constitution which and that as well helps SDA in Federation since they look like saviors who call him a warmonger ….. It’s win win for both Bakir and Dodik)

This is beginning to feel kinda 1914ish. One unintended accident and * poof *.
I suggest that everyone goes to see OPs comment history and find an interesting perspective.
6 – two idiots died in those exercises, tells you a lot about Russian military
11 – why are we letting Russia fly over NATO counties with military personnel? Isn’t that insane?
Millitary drills arent a sign of aggression. I wish you’d only kept the important ones. Serbia makes drills with many other countries. And i believe that reigon is fed up with and exhausted from war. Breakup of bosnia is concerning but its just that.
Great. We’re fucked. Maybe not now but one day.
8 placement is wrong, but it’s all good for propaganda sake, amirite?
#1 is might not be entirely true that UK plays a key role. It’s a state specific, which country is leading NATO Enhanced Forward Presence forces: In Estonia – United Kingdom, in Latvia – Canada, in Lithuania – Germany, in Poland – United States
Maybe NATO shouldn’t have broken every single one of its promises
Imagine if Russia saw western Europe as allies and partners instead of an adversary? Image a future huge, EU and even NATO membership with Russia… Europe would be massive and unstoppable. Maybe in a future, many years from now when Putin is long gone.
Could you fucking not!? //Everybody in eu
all they need is Germany to get into his famous 1941 style and the front will be way easier to deal with
Isnt the Bosporus blocked for foreign military ships? How can the US have 2 naval ships in the Black Sea then?
Transdniestria: am I a joke to you?

I’ve read once that even though Serbia supports Serbians in Bosnia (Republic of Srpska) and Russia always backs Serbia, Russia is actually preventing Serbia from intervering and wants to keep stability. Reason: Russia does not want to support regions with nationalist feelings striving for independence because they do not like it when it happens to them. (Similar to why Spain does not recognize Kosovo)

Anybody who can confirm or reject this?
