Could not bring myself to order a pint.

That’s scandalous
As an American £8.00 for a Bud Light is insane
We’re going to see the £10 sooner rather than later. Not even just at a sporting event or somewhere fancy.
£9.40 for a Kopparberg is a crime against humanity
Does the Galgorm own this place?
That’s horrendous
18 bottles of Peroni in Tesco works out at £1.41 a bottle
That is beyond extortionate
Balls to that
Maybe im abit clueless since ive moved to Liverpool but whats causing the price rises? Things made locally like Belfast black id assume abit lower of a price
Of course the cost of living but why Belfast is one of the worst?
Ill be drinking in the bandhall at this rate
Galgorm group, what do you expect?!
For £8 a pint I’d be keeping the glass.
Wtaf! This is getting ridiculous! That’s like Temple Bar prices. I go to Liverpool twice a year for a LFC match and the booze over there is very reasonable compared to here. Just as well cause I’m pretty sure they are going to drive me to drink this year 😭
Get fucked (the bar not OP obvs)
Was in there a few weeks ago, I got a starter for my main, my wife got a lasagne and we each got a drink, £80, could not believe it
Why does Belfast think it’s London, it’s absolutely ridiculous.
In fact I lived in London for years and you could have a cheaper night out there than in Belfast.
Christmas Market in Liverpool is £6.50 ahaha
How was the party? Everyone have a great time?
Well fuck that.
The Smiths. I know the cunt. You couldn’t meet a bigger bastard
Yeah beer prices in restaurants here are usually ridiculous. Not that pubs are much cheaper but always considerably more when eating out. They are just taking the piss with those prices. Then they will cry about how profits are down and expect us to have sympathy for them. It’s amazing how much we are being ripped off in comparison to Europe. Even in cities like Paris I could get a pint with my dinner for like 5-6euro unless I go somewhere super fancy. I was in Athens back in October could get a bread starter a tin of coke and my main for like a tenner all in
Folks, it’s really fecking easy: don’t pay these prices. Have a drink at home or in a reasonably priced bar or club. They only charge this much because dingbats are prepared to keep paying it.
When are people going to wise up to Galgorm Group and just avoid them?
Stop giving these wankers your money.
Don’t act enraged at their prices.
Let’s just all come together for once on one thing and stop this bullshit.
Fuck these guys.
I’d rather shit in my hand and clap than pay 9.40 for a kopparberg.
£8 for a pint can get to fuck
How do we feel about organised review bombing?
They’re charging 50p more for a bottle that comes from norn iron than one that comes from Mexico? Robbing bastards.
£8 for a peroni WTF
Last time I had a pint it was £1.85, 2 double vodka’s and a redbull was £5. I’m glad I packed it in when I did. £7.80 for a Bud Light? Ya must be mental, that’s 99% water in a pint glass. lol…
That’s nuts. Just go to Sainsbury’s and get 3 Kopparbergs for £6.50 on nectar
Shocking. The cocktail prices in the Galgorm spa are £17 a wack, but that’s not the real sting. The real sting is that they’re poured from a pre-mix bottle, which you can buy at £25 for 700ml.
If I’m paying the already exorbitant cost of a cocktail, I like to know that a bartender stood there and shook that shit, and not just poured it out of a fucking bottle.
Robbing toe rags.
Folks prices will always rise. In 5 years it will be 13 quid a pint. The min wage will be £18. I remember the good old days aswell when a pint was £3. I was on £6 an hour.
Why is there a cock silhouette on the side of the pic?
Alcoholism is way more efficient and cost effective at home.
£7.80 for a bottle of Corona – away and fuck. Mates were saying tonight that we’re just going to stop going out the way we’ve always done in Belfast city centre. The experience doesn’t match the price and places are taking the piss
Why aren’t people going out as much? Nope, can’t figure it out. 🤷
I’m a southerner so what exactly explains the absolutely absurd alcohol pricing in Belfast. Central London and Dublin are understandable enough considering that rents are extremely high and there are loads of wealthy American tourists as well as thousands of residents earning huge salaries. I remember paying £7.30 or something for a pint in a bar in Belfast and this was 3 years ago.
Wtaf!? I currently live in a popular, expensive tourist city and those prices are a hard no for me.
Shit, I was just at a gig tonight in said expensive city and a pint was like half that.
There is no justifiable reason to charge that kind of price in NI beyond “fuck these stupid customers willing to pay it”
I’m not far off an alco and i’d just nope out and have tap water at that price.
And where??? This is pointless.
The restaurant I was in last night was charging £5.50 for a bottle of piss-water Madri. You can get 18 tins of Carlsberg in Lidl for £11 outside sales.
Fuck the NI Hospitality industry, they’re greedy profiteering cunts. They can hide behind every excuse they want but they’re all owned by greedy rats who would charge for the sausage rolls at their own grannie’s wake.
But back to the post, the Galgorm group is for wankers here who lap up their inflated prices simply to look better off even though they live their whole adult life being debt slaves to finance companies.
Their facilities are glorified leisure centres.
I’m from Glasgow and I think these prices are a bit fucking cheeky!
24 corona for £20 atm. There would cost you £187.20 😆
Why bother going to this place, just go to Wetherspoons for a drink, cheaper and has all of these drinks.
Bud light £7.80 wtf 3.4% alcohol.
Order a round of shots. Of beer.
