  5. If they were 12-13 nautical miles off shore then the whole argument of it not having been safe to fire at the drones goes right out the window doesn’t it?

    Be interesting to see what their justification is for taking absolutely no action. And whether or not more information comes out of whatever footage they managed to get.

  8. Do we know what size these drones were. If they’re normal sized commercial drones that’s a very small target. Most modern armed forces are struggling to deal with this sort of threath. I seriously doubt the defence forces were taking this lightly.

  11. Elements inside the Gardaí and the defence forces have been bickering over who has seniority when it comes to parts of the security of the state for probably 30 years now.. And while the DF can only legally be employed in that role along side the Gardaí. The Gardaí really need to pull their heads outta their hole and realise they don’t control the defence forces.
