President Donald Trump appeared to inadvertently diss his second-in-command during a Q&A session following his lengthy Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Trump threw verbal jabs at Minnesota Governor Tim Walz after a reporter asked the commander in chief if Walz should resign from office following a fraud scandal in his state.

“I think the man is a grossly incompetent man. I thought that from the day I watched JD destroy him in the debate. I was saying, ‘Who’s more incompetent, that man or my man?’

Trump continues, saying, “I had a man, and he had a man. They were both incompetent.”

“I had a man and a woman, I thought she was very incompetent too, but now she’s leading the field,” the president added.

X users debate who ‘my man’ is

X users, however, were quick to come to the vice president’s defense, interpreting the president’s statements of “incompetence” as directed at Waltz, his presidential predecessor, Joe Biden, and former VP Kamala Harris.

“Hilarious as it is, he goes on to say he had a woman (Harris), so it’s pretty clear he means he had Biden and JD had Walz. Let’s stick to his actual moronic thoughts,” wrote one X user.

“ He managed to insult three people in one sentence: impressive,” another X user wrote.

“That man is ‘Walz, ‘ and my man is ‘Biden.” He is talking about their competing debaters. In a very chaotic way, there is some logic in what he is trying to say. JD is just collateral in the interview. A kind of ‘friendly fire,’’’ wrote another X user.

However, other X users weren’t convinced.

“Wait, did Trump just call JD Vance incompetent????,” wrote one user.

“The Vance-Walz debate was ruled a tie. Hilarious Dementia Don just called his VP incompetent, too. Someone has to take the fall for his dismal performance,” wrote an agreeing X user.

Trump’s Tuesday remarks aimed at Walz follow a slur-ridden claim he made about the Minnesota elected official on Truth Social, following the shooting of two National Guard members deployed to patrol Washington, DC.

Trump alleged immigrants from Somalia are “completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota,” as he called the Democratic vice presidential nominee last year Walz “seriously re*****d,” in a Thanksgiving post on Truth Social.

Following the controversial post, Walz hit back at Trump, reawakening health concerns about the president as he reshared Trump’s lengthy rant to X, captioning it “Release the MRI results.”
