People should take pilgrimage to this statue to throw eggs at it.
I’m amazed it wasn’t pulled down the moment it went up tbh.
No one will get in trouble for attacking the statue, they’re only miners.
I’m not a gambler, but has anyone had a look to see if bookmakers are offering odds on how long the statue will last before its knocked over, loses its head or similar?
> “But, like all politicians, she did a lot of good and some not so good – not a lot different from today.
Empty headed analysis
There will be a lot worse things than eggs thrown at it before it is attacked/burnt/ vandalised and ultimately destroyed.
>Kerry Law, chief marketing and engagement officer at the university
What a stupid thing for a university to have.
Hey, uni of Leicester, save some money by sacking her.

Absolutely typical, that even in death Thatcher is diverting food from people who need it most.
I hope they said “The lady’s not for egging.”
The more people talk about the eggings, the more it will happen. I get a feeling those most opposed to it secretly delight in it as they have something else to get worked up about. I flicked on to GB News yesterday (good for the lols on occasion) and they were banging on about it, a whole section about a statue having stuff chucked at it ffs.
Just some fun facts.
Bronze can be severely damaged by ammonia and chloride salts if the surface is abraided first with sandpaper the substance can penetrate deeply into the metal.
