Is that it? All this fuss and panic over pepper spray?
In UK, it’s up to 10 years in prison just for possession. If used on someone or more. It’s the above + ABH 5 years per victim. This person is fucked
I too carry chemical weapons whenever I’m at the airport. Just in case.
Something similar happened a few weeks ago? Where they closed a terminal and it was a chemical incident, but then it wasn’t?!
I wonder if this was related or gave these guys the idea
From the article:
“We believe the incident involved a group of people known to each other, with an argument escalating and resulting in a number of people being injured,” says a police commander
what a fucking fuss over something pretty tame
In America this is used to help women fend off rapists and attackers. I’m guessing not so here.
I’ve missed my flight due to this. There was huge police presence, multiple ambulances, and multiple fire trucks. Basically closed off access to T2 and T3. The response by the emergency services, particular the met police, seems a pretty massive over reaction. Security is obviously important, but this wasn’t proportionate. Tens of thousands will have missed flights due to this
The irony is they’d likely get longer in prison for pepper spraying someone than stabbing them.Â
Who tf takes a firearm (in the uk) to an airport? Stupid.
