  1. Out of curiosity, I wonder why there is reference in the title to the guy being an asylum seeker but not the victim(?)

Media/article potentially provoking reactions for it’s own gains but also provoking inadvertent misinformation … could surely do better?

  2. “Some images included photographs of her nude, with his name written on her body, including on her chest, in the form of the letter ‘M’ with a love heart. The marking was not a tattoo but a temporary, henna-type design.

The accused also shared nude photos of himself. When he sent a photograph of his face, she recognised him from Citywest and blocked him on social media.”

So she sent nudes, he responded with his face as well as nudes, she blocked him, he got pussed off and sent nudes to her family. Seems like both sides know each very well.

  3. 3 years in jail. Perfect. Let that be the lesson for everyone. That’s the only headline we need.

  4. The sharing of the nude images to the victim’s family makes it even more sinister as he would be well aware of the potential deadly consequences for the girl is she were to ever return to Afghanistan.

  5. Should be deported after this. Disgusting terrible behaviour, could be risking that girls life.

  6. >Mr Pacha, who was aged 19 in 2022, had arrived in Ireland one month before the harassment began. **Mr Pacha has since been granted asylum status.**

Time to bin that status and reserve him a seat on a chartered flight out of here, with three gardai to keep him company.

  7. As soon as his sentence is finished he should be deported.
