He grew up in the UK. He drove in some tourneys in Belgium. He visited his family. And he got his Belgian passport, because it made travel easier for him after Brexit.
That's the extent of his affiliation with Belgium.

No way that a random female employee recognized him. F1 drivers like that aren’t that well known.
If he stayed in Belgium, he would not be where he is now.
Motorsport has been decimated in this country, with motocross being the best example (thank you Tobback).
Kudos to the few diehards that refuse to see their sports vanish.
