He also claims he will increase the number of sunny days in Scotland per year by 25%.
Put it on a campervan John. That’s how believable your statement is.
‘Make me king and everyone will have a golden shiter and pet unicorn.’
‘How?’
‘………. a golden shiter and a pet unicorn, folks. Vote me.’
The daily record sure has a rather crap website, that makes it hard to follow a coherent story.
I thought this was common knowledge? Yet people are saying it’s SNP claptrap?

What would happen after independence and what the SNP would do in the government of an independent Scotland are two very different things…
Well yes, thats pretty obvious.
Our renewables and nuclear energy production covers more than enough for our domestic and export needs, but we are required to pay far, far more in order to keep gas at a UK level profitable. Were we independent, our energy costs would be far, far lower.
Denying this reality is purely ideological, yet see below for examples.
“Its scotlands energy”. Basically giving their blessing to the “england steals scotlands energy” lie.
Im sure the pensions lie will be back in the mainstream of the SNP leadership before too long as well. Maybe they will go the whole insane hog and start talking up repudiating the national debt.
Honestly I’d prefer if they just came up with a currency plan, how they intend to handle a hard border with the UK, and how they will deal with our finance deficit.
A third off electricity bills, a free 10 grand to each household, extra money because England will pay for all our pensions. You’d be a fool not to support independence!
Source: magic economics. As usual.Â
Swinney = Fanny
lol
Is there anything indy *won’t* cute?
I’d much prefer independence to mean a fairer taxation system and better standards of living per £1 of tax collected but there’s zero chance they wouldn’t need to raise taxes to cover any initial shortfalls in social spending.
omg, its all sunlit uplands with prancing unicorns for everyone, its like they looked at the brexit campaign and went “it was all a load of cynical lies”….”but it worked”….
So Scottish bill payers will assume all the funding for Renewable Obligations, Contracts for Differences, grid upgrades etc?
Or do they expected English bill payers will continue paying for it?
Why is it that I dont beleive the SNP
There’s nothing that independence wouldn’t make better according to the SNP.
Don’t ask *how* though, it’s all based on them not having to produce any kind of economic plan.
Obviously
I’d rather be independent than not but they need to stop dicking around and prove to the undecided and pro unionists that we would absolutely thrive. They need to just talk about the difficult shit like the currency situation. You know the other side will oppose any positive evidence even if they did it themselves but the SNP need to grow some balls say “fuck you.” drop down their trousers and dump out a nice big steaming report with a clear plan and proof to back it up.
All I care about is re-joining the EU
