  1. Rubbish, Russia isnt invading Ukraine, it already has what it wanted.
Amd even if it did, EU doesn’t have military power to stopl them, NATO is spent.
Noone would risk WW3 for “democracy”

  2. Yes, let’s thank Germany for Nord stream, as for east Europe they will support Ukraine but starting from March 🙂

  3. > the west must soon choose between reliance on Russian gas and standing up for Ukraine

So, Ukraine is fucked? Because on one hand it is the sweet Russian gas and on the other hand is some eastern country that no longer transmits the beforementioned sweet Russian gas.

Also, Johnson and Macron probably only play the tough guy, because everything is already arranged behind the scenes.

  4. Ukraine is pretty corrupt, and it is deeply ingrained in society. Will take decades to root it out. Yes, been there a few times and spouse is from Vinnytsia.

  5. That’s a false dilemma. Actually, Ukraine has been getting gas from the EU side of the network since 2015, when Russia stopped delivering to Ukraine.

Russia cannot afford to cut off all of Europe at the same time, so as long as we stick together that’s a controlled threat.

That should give enough time to ramp up our own renewable production.

  6. Meanwhile, Boris must choose between accepting money from Russian donors to the Tories, and democracy.

Oh wait, the hypocrite made that choice already 🙁
