    Jimmy Kimmel’s contract has been renewed through the 2026-2027 season, meaning Trump’s foe will be able to continue roasting him despite Trump’s best efforts to have him fired.

    Trump was incensed when ABC brought Kimmel back after his brief suspension, threatening to sue ABC for putting him back on the air. The threats did not dissuade the network from renewing Kimmel’s contract on Monday.

    Trump’s fixation on the late-night host came up again on Sunday during a rambling Oval Office speech, “If I can’t beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be president,” Trump said.
