  1. Not only do they have to deal with terrorists invading their home country, they have to deal with terrorists here in the states as well. this administration are Nazis. It’s hard to stay positive

  2. Not surprising. ICE doesn’t have an actual list of criminals to arrest, they just grab whoever they can to fill their quotas and sort out people after the fact, if they even bother.

Source: My cousin’s husband who’s a retired police officer. Sounds like they’re doing a bait and switch, telling people they can do office jobs. My cousin’s husband signed up to help do paperwork for those who wanted to self deport. After a month, his who group was told they would instead do only street grabs, and work weekends. Lots of guys quit, losing out on paychecks and hiring bonuses. Most were over 60, and signed up while being told they specifically wouldn’t be working the streets. My cousin’s husband stuck around to see what was really happening. They go out on patrol, and get told to arrest anyone who looks illegal. Ignore all documents and everything people say. They’re scheduled to work 7 days a week and have to make a minimum number of arrests a day

  3. OP, please also post this in r/EyesOnIce and r/ICE_Raids if it isn’t there already! 🇺🇦

  4. This is possibly the worst of the horrific things, going on in my country right NOW! Terrifying things I never dreamed could happen here.

It’s happening every day in any given city, it’s cruel and they will pay, they have too. Bless this family, may she come home soon.

  5. Ukranians should not feel safe in America right now

  6. The article is a bit messy. They say she applied to extend her TPS, but USCIS scheduled a green card appointment? How is that possible? There’s no transition from TPS to GreenCard as far as I know.

I suppose she’s trying to get a greencard via being married to the US citizen and she was on a TPS. Looks like ice is grabbing everyone who had any kind of lapse in their status even if they stayed legally. This is incredibly shitty given how slow USCIS works and how often people get a lapse in their status (not sure if that’s a correct word, basically the time between the status has already expired, but USCIS is still working to extend/renew it) even if they applied on time to extend it. I personally know people who applied to extend their visa 6 months before the expiration and USCIS still failed to process it in time, while also granting them extension while they’re processing the application (so you are there legally until you get a rejection). So now looks like all these people are at risk of being arrested.

  7. Disguising but not surprising. Fuck ICE and their enablers.

  8. I was reliably informed that ICE are very racist and are doing this only to black and brown people.

  9. Why would they detain someone trying to get a legal right to be here?

I mean ICE sucks ass always but i thought their thing was illegal aliens

  10. Unpopular opinion but hopefully Ukrainians won’t be allowed permanent residency, the greatest danger we are facing is demographic one, we need young Ukrainians in Ukraine rebuilding the country and not assimilating in the West.

Although it’s dark but I support this decision

  11. Wannabe nazi billionaires, wannabe dictators in the government and gaystapo in the streets. What a timeline.
The “tons of guns to fight a future tyrannical government” must be all rusted.

  12. Fuck ICE. Pieces of shit dont even know the laws they “enforce”. I already have citizenship so im okay, but im super worried these dumb fucks might do the same thing to my family members when they go into the immigration office. I took my grandparents to get finger prints few months ago and had to scope out the office for any ICE officers nearby.
