Ha ! I worked in a company that hired the blonde lad from those ads. It was a telecomms company, he got a bot of a slagging over it, but he took it well. Didnt have any option i suppose!
And nowadays you can get a 50 inch 4k smart TV for around the same price (adjusted for inflation)

Its mad that all these years later Powercity stores still look the exact same. Not one single attempt to modernise the brand, uniforms or.store layouts and yet still doing grand as a business.

The ‘Tracking Wheel’ on a VCR was some high end shizz back in the day.
It’s funny that a 20 inch low res box was £179 in a sale back in the day and now you can get a 32 inch full HD smart tv for less than that without even accounting for inflation.
Technology is weird how some things (phones, TVs) get so much cheaper over time to the point where everyone can have relatively high end stuff whilst others (PC parts) seem to only go up.
