If the US isn’t interested in Europe or Ukraine anymore, then why can’t Europe enter the war, help Ukraine push a weakened Russia out of Ukraine? Presumably, getting unanimous European consent remains an issue?

I’ve got a friend that is an medical professional about 200km from the front. The triage center got hit by a drone strike a few days ago. Tell me thats not a war crime.
Surely this is not true for the last one right? it was a REALLY bad peace deal, and the US pressured Ukraine to accept.

I wouldn’t say Zelensky outright accepted every one of them, but he has provided discourse and paths to compromises that would make the propositions acceptable.
Putin rejects them, even when he wrote them. He has no incentive for peace, and Trump encourages this behavior every time he threatens to just walk away like a weakling. If Trump pulls US support out of the conflict, Putin benefits. There are no consequences for Putin for rejection negotiations, he benefits from it even, so naturally he doesn’t bother to negotiate.
How the “master of the deal” can be so blind to such a simple flaw of incentives is…well, I’m not confused by it at all. Trump is either a moron, corrupt, or frankly, as we all know, both.
