CMON will release Dune: Desert War, a new expansion for Dune: War for Arrakis, via Asmodee in January. The core game and The Spacing Guild expansion were released last year (see “’Dune: War for Arrakis’ Gets Date”). The new expansion details the conflict fought on the surface of Dune.
The Dune: Desert War expansion introduces the Escort Ornithopter, a new Vehicle, and Desert Troopers, a new category of soldiers; and brings in new units: Fremen rocket launchers and sandriders and Harkonnen suspensor troops and ornithopters.
The box holds 16 figures, 2 plastic stands, 5 cards, 7 tokens, 1 rulebook.
Dune: Desert War will be released on January 23, 2026 at $54.99 MSRP.
