I was living in celle few years back. i used to buy stuff from kleinanzeigen, but now after 4 years i tried again. bought RTX 5070 video card, and got this.
What can i do now? i paid with bank transfer.

  2. First file a report (Anzeige) at the police station. Then write off your money.

  3. Go to the police. Did you send the payment to a German bank account? Please tell me it was German.

  4. Now its what we Germans Call „PATT SITUATION“. I cant get Ur Money back unless he will sent it too u. If u write it Kleinanzeigen he can say that u want too scam him. And thats the other think we Call „Lehrgeld“. Dont make Deals with high prices on Bank Transfer use Paypal with Waren und Dienstleistungen.

    1: File a police report

    2: Don’t buy stuff on Kleinanzeigen unless you can locally pick it up.

  6. If things happen just as you state it then that’s a fraud. But it will be very mandatory to know how exactly the notice was written

  7. You can go to the police and file a report for fraud. The bank transfer is linked to a person who had to use his or her ID to open the account.

    You can also sue the person. But this would be most likely not economical as the person is probably judgement proof.
    Most likely it is a money mule who doesn’t have anything that is worth taking

  8. You got scammed, only ever pay with PayPal (NOT friends and family).

  11. Legally you got scammed and would have the appropriate measures at your disposal.

    Go to the police and fine a report, sue the person (most likely “unknown”) for breach of contract to try and get your money back.

    However, if the scammer is not a complete idiot, you never got his real information or account. And if he is, then he most likely has nothing left for you to get by dragging him to court.

    A bank transfer can not be reversed, the money is gone. Most likely to a mule-account, someone who did not even know what was going on, and has since been moved already. Hard to track and very slim chances of success.

    In short: enjoy your Knoppers, it better be the best you ever had

  12. I mean you can prove it wasn’t a graphics card, the package with packaging couldn’t weigh more than a graphics card with just this content.

  14. Do you have any number to track the delivery with? Maybe the weight so you can prove there was never a graphic card to begin with.

    Make sure that they dokument the bank-account-number

    Go to your bank, and explain that to them, maybe they give you your money back

    Talk to the bank of your “trading partner” and send them the police report

  16. Never pay via bank transfer. Never buy from kleinanzeigen if you don’t meet with the buyer. You could have went for the GPU on ebay auctions instead, where there’s ebay buyer protection. As someone else said, you should check with the delivery firm what this package was measured at. All RTX 5070 are above 1 KG, some are 1.5, 1.7 when its package is present.

  17. I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max yesterday from Amazon and got a bbq sause bottle instead.
     

  18. As in Germany, beside telling different, online platforms do store the data of people , you could just make an online report, as you are now not living in Germany, and just request your bank to transfer the money back, because this is a scam (Betrug) they are forced to do so.

    Then you have a newspaper, a Knoppers and a Cig’ sent for free

This post is making me nervous, I bought something (also reasonably expensive but not really that valuable), and he writes like an elderly person that doesn’t quite understand how certain things work (eg, probably got stuck on the warning page of sending his paypal email, and just took a pic of it written out instead) 

    I’m starting to wonder if I just got scammed 🫠. Would be a first. 

  20. You shouldn’t have paid for sth so expensive with bank transfer. Also, please always check the seller account age and reviews. I have been buying from kleinanzeigen for years and I was only scammed once and PayPal had my back.

    I mean what a combo here,

    Eat Knoppers, spray the perfume, smoke the cig and read this goddam newspaper, perhaps this ritual can make you think creativly on how to get your money back and never buy from there again

  24. Own fault… Why would you order something like that without Paypall or any type of protection?!

  26. If you didn’t film the unpacking of the shipment, you could claim you had a witness. Otherwise tuition fee

  29. I only pay through the Kleinanzeigen inbuilt system. Would rather pay the extra 10€, than get swindled out of the 2k(?) for a GPU .

    That’s why.

  34. Ok, sad that this happened but can we acknowledge that the package is funny as hell? The guy could have just loaded it with garbage but instead he decided to pack a whole breakfast set. Only thing that is missing is a small package of instand coffee.

  35. You’re cooked, but contact your bank and then police. You might get a refund if they get him. Also contact kleinzeigen support. And for the future, best rule is never to buy anything more than ~200Eur unless it’s a abholung

  36. You can remember to never pay with anything on Kleinanzeigen that does not have a buyers protection
