And I am sure all the oil will be delivered to it’s rightful owner….right?
Remember when they said this was about drugs?
lmao so many drugs onboard right
Funny how they can seize an oil tanker but not those suspected drug boats. Those they just HAD to blow out of the water.
The hypocrisy of our history in Latin America is astounding.
We went from a Democratic Republic to a Banana Republic to Piracy.
Alright hear me out… at least they didn’t just shoot it, and then shoot anyone that survived this time. /s
Trump’s been mentioning Somalia recently – he’s showing them who the real pirates are
So we are just pirates now?
Nicolás Maduro is an evil dictator who did steal the election.
But I don’t see any good end game plan for Venezuela.
Trump is fucking around, escalating and escalating with no justification and no realistic endgame plan.
And the rest of the Republicans in charge of Congress are watching it happen and doing nothing.
We are going to end up at war with Venezuela because Marco has a grudge against socialists, Hegseth wants to feel like a warrior, Trump is asleep at the helm, and Republicans in Congress are cowards.
Pathetic.
USA just full on plundering now.
Lawless.
Republicans: “it’s always been about the cocaine! We have our own oil! We don’t need Venezuela’s oil! He’s fighting terrorism!”
Sure. Push that head deeper and deeper into the ground.
Look at me. I am the pirate now.
JFC, everything is behind a paywall all of a sudden.
it’s full of fentanoil
And that’s what this is really about, folks. Oil.
He didn’t do this even for Iran or Russia, both possibly even more sanctioned than Venezuela.
Just so we all are clear what this is really about.
Seems wild the US can pitch a tent around a country they aren’t at war with an selectively kill people, and given double tap orders – leave no evidence behind to counter there chosen narrative.
Now there seizing oil tankers and (last I heard) providing no comment.
So where those files at?
Anakin: I’m sending the military to Venezuela
Padme: It’s not about oil though, right?
Anakin: ….
Padme: It’s not about oil though, right?
Ah well that makes sense. Had to give that oil some freedom.
Escalation into retaliation. Then victimhood and full scale war. It can’t be anymore obvious.
Hopefully FIFA doesn’t ask for their peace ~~bribe~~ prize back!
“As you probably know, we’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela, a large one… **the largest one ever seized actually…**”
This fucking caricature of a caricature of an asshole and the stupid way he talks like this about *everything*.
Y’all wanted those hard times to make strong men.
Go now, die for your oil barons.
Sooo.. are we divvying up all that oil among the taxpayers, or is that going to some crony?
Cause honestly, we could really use some lube right about now, if you’re gonna shove another war up our…
Okay so lemme get this straight.
Step 1.) sanction Venezuelan oil
Step 2.) damage relations with our other heavy crude importers (Canada, Mexico)
Step 3.) overproduce light crude and flood the market creating a glut and driving down oil prices to break even or worse
Step 4.) steal oil from Venezuela
Did I get that right?
Pirating a civilian vessel in international waters. What an honourable display by the US Navy.
There you have it folks, the real reason behind trumps murders at sea… oil. Not drugs. It was never drugs. Especially obvious because trump pardoned two of the largest drug dealers ever convicted in the U.S.
The Trump admin was so caught up in accusing Minnesotan Somalians that the administration became the real pirates.
Isn’t this a crime? It’s an oil tanker, not a drug boat. They haven’t formally declared war on Venezuela?
Uh is this not just a flagrant breach of international law?
