No one before got a picture (by an artist but probably just pinched from the internet) and put it on a big sheet for people to hang up? Or is it just me?

I’m genuinely curious about people who buy this stuff. I put value to money, even if it’s not my own, I’ll always try (within reason) to make sure it is being spent wisely.
I’ve seen these on AliExpress/TikTok Shop with the AI art in the thumbnail… Do people not look at what they buy?
Am I only the one more concerned about what’s happened to Father Christmas’ face? His nose has been replaced with a potato, his right eye has slipped down onto his cheek, and his left eye appears to be completely obscured by his beard which has extended upwards to meet his hairline.
This is almost worse than no decoration. It’s like they think you’re a tamagotchi who just needs their basic boxes ticked.

Someone I know posted a picture of themselves on FB. They were out for Christmas drinks. They were wearing an Xmas sweater with a gingerbread house etc on it.
It was so obviously AI generated garbage, it was awful.
I think the vast majority of the general population don’t know and can’t tell if something is AI generated or not.

I’ve seen so many of these shitty AI banners this year. Someone down my street has one and not only is it ai slop, the image is all squashed horizontally. I hate them!

That’s hilarious! I don’t know where you work but if any reading age kids see that they’re going to be pissed off.
All of this AI garbage comes with an additional scary thought…there are seemingly millions of people who either don’t notice all the things wrong with the images and text, or just don’t care.
I’m most worried about the ones that don’t notice. How can anyone survive with such low observational skills?
