The new head of FEMA’s most important office is a conspiracy theorist who has called for a “Christ-centered approach” to catastrophe management. What could possibly go wrong?

  1. His definition of “Christ-centered” is likely very different from mine or other people’s.

  2. Everyone say a prayer for the victims. But don’t kneel, that’s woke!

  3. If Christ centred was truly what he wanted, it might actually be great. I’m aware it’s not, don’t worry

  4. That means if you lived through a natural disaster, Jesus saved you. No disaster aid needed. Easy peasy

  5. “Thoughts and prayers” are about to be turned up to 11.

  6. Christ-centric meaning what?

He’s gonna tell flood victims to walk on water?

  7. Wcgw you ask…Just talk with the folks in Texas after the floods last summer.

  8. Well, since no one has ever seen this dude, (jesus), and this dude has never demonstrated any actions of any kind, that I know about, I imagine the ‘christ centered approach’ would be to never show up and always do nothing.

  9. Oh, so FEMA is going to feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, care for the sick, and visit the prisoner. Right?

    Right?

  10. Does that mean that everyone says “oh Christ not another one!” when the hurricane hits?
