I calmly carried it to the overgrown area next to our pond.

It's body was the size of the palm of my hand.

  10. Ermm, you need to find it and put it back in the shed, assuming it hasn’t gone back there already. It’s gone there for food and warmth over winter, you have a guest until Spring. (If you lift the shed floor, there’s probably a good dozen under there, but don’t, leave them in peace for the winter.)
