Deputy Secretary General of NATO Radmila Shekerinska stated that any changes in the deployment of American troops in Europe would take place exclusively in full coordination with allies. According to her, a policy of surprise decisions is ruled out, and all adjustments to the U.S. presence are planned and agreed within the Alliance.
She also confirmed that unit relocations are taking place, including from Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia, but this is not considered an extraordinary step.
