“The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga is the personalization of authentic Latvian luxury in Riga,” said General Manager Carmen Mauthner. “It’s important to me that we create memorable experiences for our guests with our very high-level service delivery, while showcasing the beauty of Latvia and its people.”

Designed by Alex Kravetz of AK Design in London, the unique and rich history of Riga is displayed with uncompromising comfort and opulence in mind. All rooms possess a floor space of at least 115 sq. ft., while the Presidential Suite on floor 7 is a large 912 sq. ft. and can be accessed by personal lift and a discreet, individual entrance from the street.

Containing five individual rooms, the suite resembles a sophisticated downtown apartment, ideal for those with absolute luxury and comfort in mind. Grey tones are accented with wood and beige elements, along with thoughtful modern touches. Complete with a living room, an office, a dining room, and an elegant bathroom with a large soaking bathtub and a separate shower, the lavish bedroom presents a walk-in dressing room as well. The room also features an authentic Finnish sauna and a steam room, an idyllic way to end your day exploring the capital.

Adjacent to Amber Restaurant sits the elegant Lobby Lounge, a place to marvel at the marble staircase with a cocktail in hand, or where to enjoy a beautifully prepared afternoon tea. Adorned with rich hand-carved Armenian woods and plush leather sofas, the Cigar Lounge is one of the few places in Riga where you can relax with a Central American cigar and a glass of the finest rum or whiskey.  The last, but certainly not least, of its food and beverage establishments is the stylish Stage22 Bar & Restaurant. This rooftop gem is an informal gathering place for all city guests and residents, presenting an Asian Fusion menu along with carefully selected signature cocktails

Along with a 53-foot spa pool, a Rasul mud treatment room, a bio sauna, six treatment rooms, and a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, Kempinski The Spa takes care of all guests’ well-being needs. From classic massages to hi-tech facials, true release comes from their authentic Latvian bathing experience led by a professional bathing master. The Latvian Pirts Sauna ritual embodies age-old traditions in which the bathing master controls the room’s temperature through waving juniper and birch leaves, before using the same leaves for an invigorating birch-whisk massage. Followed by a special scrub infused with Baltic amber, you are left with a truly unforgettable relaxation experience, reviving both mind and body.

From the personal dedication by the brand’s iconic ‘Lady in Red’ team to the kind and dedicated staff, your stay in Riga is specially curated to experience the utmost comfort and splendor. It is a destination where every detail is thoughtfully crafted, ensuring that each guest leaves with a deep connection to the city and memories that linger long after their stay.
