The box looked a little wedged, which is unlike their normal packaging. Opened it up to the first picture, found the little bag with this in? Seems like their freebies are targeting a particular new type of customer.

    I’d call the customer service line. Anyone including a toddler could have opened that box

  6. That’s really odd and I can’t think how it could have got there. Those pens are shipped out in a huge amount of packaging, icepacks etc which you’d hope for something worth a couple hundred pounds. They also have to be prescribed so there should be a prescription sticker on the box.

    Edit: it’s also the wrong strength (says 10mg on the box, 2.5mg on the pen). Perhaps it’s counterfeit?

  10. Someone will be very pissed off by this I suspect, hugely expensive and needs to be refrigerated. 

  11. So good news, there’s no needle on that pen. How it works is in the box you get four screw on needles that are thrown away after each use, and you can’t put the pen lid on with a needle attached. So unless there is needle caps in the box that have had the paper seal removed, you don’t need to be concerned about used needles.

    10mg is a high dosage and will make you very sick if you are tempted to take it and haven’t built up to it on lower dosages, so fair warning if you were considering it! They also need to be kept refrigerated so wouldn’t risk it anyway.

    Let the company know, they should be able to trace on their system who packed it. Other users are correct that this is prescription only and tightly monitored – plus worth a lot of money, over £300 for a pen of that dosage depending on who prescribed it. If the company aren’t interested then take it down your local pharmacy or GP for destruction.

  12. its someones return, they have returned the towel with that in, then the company has then sold that as a new one. see how the pens box says 10mg and the pen says 2.5mg. The box may have the name of the person the medicine was prescribed to, its on the label.

  13. That stuff is normally delivered in special cooler packaging, ice, wool etc. as it’s got to be kept cold in a fridge normally.

    So it’s expensive, and useless.

  16. Not really related but it’s crazy to me how people are saying you’re lucky. I studied biological science and nobody in my circle would consider injecting themselves with this shit unless they were a) Diabetic b) Dangerously overweight.

    The potential side effects are not pleasant, and we don’t really know the long term effects of this drug on non diabetic patients. Furthermore there’s a debate surrounding societal trends influencing people into losing dangerous amounts of weight. I’m not wanting Heroin Chic to come back personally.

    I have a young cousin who’s started saying that she can eat whatever she wants, because she’ll just take the jab like mummy. I wish it was treated as the medicine it is, not a magical injection which melts your fat down!

  18. Curious if your White Co box was sealed? I wouldn’t have thought that the WC and medical supplies are packed/shipped from the same distro centre, but not impossible.

    If it was sealed, I’d ping a message to the WC, If it had been opened (eg. The courier could have just stuffed a random lost item into your box) then flag it to the courier.

    My company delivers all over the world and we’ve seen (very rare) cases of couriers damaging boxes then not knowing how to repack it, resulting in the customer getting surprise extras. Never drugs!

    But I’m sure in time it could happen, one day. 🙄

  22. Mad that I see this, we bought a second hand bunk bed with a mattress on Tuesday. Turns out it’s from The White Company. It’s worth £1295 and we paid £40 plus a mattress from the same company. Never heard of them before and now I can’t escape them lol

  25. Oh wow thats crazy!! The 2.5mg is like £140? I think and the 10mg is about £250ish luckily they are easy to dispose of. Literally just put it in ur bin lol. Only the needles actually need to be specially disposed of, but you only have the pen part which is safe
