Awhile back I posted here asking for help with pet names for children in Latvian. I got some wonderful suggestions and ended up using zaķītis, or an English phonetic pronunciation of it anyway.

I’m happy to share the story with you today, if you’re interested in reading it.

If you have any story critiques I’d suggestions, I’ll happily take them.

I’m not a professional writer, I just enjoy doing it, and share it where I can.

Thanks again!

  1. Um, was your goal saying “a flying rabbit”? Because to me it sounds like lidojot zaÄ·Ä«tis which means “while flying, a rabbit”. LidojoÅ¡s would be the correct form. If I am wrong though, sorry, just spent a minute or two figuring out what lee dough yote was
