At the Velchynets checkpoint on the Moldova–Ukrainian border, the Bucharest–Kyiv passenger train was stopped after a report of an allegedly planted bomb.
According to preliminary data, around 12:50, while departing Moldova at the Moldova–Ukrainian border crossing at Velchynets, the train traveling the Bucharest–Kyiv route was stopped.
It is also noted that Ukrzaliznytsia previously informed the train’s conductor about a call to the hotline from an unknown person with information about an allegedly planted explosive device.
Security services have arrived at the scene to verify the information and ensure passenger safety.
