  4. That is really sad. These soldiers likely have no say in the matter and are sent without their consent to a war they are not a party to and given the most dangerous jobs and no support. Then they are brought home and lied about. I am sure it will never be mentioned how many die doing this or the mental or emotional scars they have. It is not that I support North Korea or Russia. I just think these soldiers on the ground likely don’t support either of those regimes as well.

  5. So this IS turning into a world war. There are axis powers.

    1) Let’s hope it gets contained. The EU has enough resources to stop Russia, but a Russia/China/NK/others axis could be problematic.

    2) Let’s hope Trump & co get removed from office soon. He’s shifting the alignment of the USA to the wrong side. If he stays in at best the USA will be neutral, and at worst we will monkey-wrench the EU resistance.

    3) If Harris had been elected this war would be ending soon. She would have kept the competent folks and pressed Russia hard to withdraw. Russia proper would have seen the fortitude and made some internal adjustments. After Putin took a short walk from a high window the new regime would be open to discussing EU security.
