A total of 243 executions have been recorded in the first 19 days of Persian month of Azar.
In a heinous crime, the henchmen of the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, executed at least 79 prisoners between Saturday, December 6, and Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The total number of recorded executions in the first 19 days of Azar (November 22-December 10) has thus reached 243.
On Wednesday, December 10, twenty-three prisoners were hanged, including: Ali Shamloo in Bojnurd, Manouchehr Navaei and another prisoner in Taybad, Yaser Jahan-Tigh in Sari, a prisoner surnamed Kavian in Bukan, Kabir Mahmoudvand in Mahshahr, Mohammad Ghahremani in Ferdows, Sasan Sheikhi in Behbahan, Reza Sabzi in Malayer, Nemat Bahiraei in Bushehr, Hasan-Morad Haghi in Damghan, Kourosh Sabzi in Kashmar, Mohammad-Karim Siadi in Shahr-e Kord, Khodabakhsh Elyasi and two other prisoners in Shiraz, Soheil Hamidi in Mahabad, Nour-Mohammad Shabani in Sabzevar, a female prisoner named Elnaz Azizi and another prisoner in Mashhad, one prisoner in Chabahar, and Saeed Khoshkalam, 27, and Mehrdad Mirzaei, 38, in Rasht.
On Tuesday, December 9, sixteen prisoners were hanged, including: Diako Farooqi in Sanandaj, Qanbar Eslami in Khaf (Razavi Khorasan Province), Emad Rashidi in Jiroft, Jalil Shahsavari in Yazd, Houshang Jadidi in Ahvaz, Karam-Ali Farhadi in Bam, Shahmorad Abdi in Ilam, Abdullah Qasemi in Borazjan, Mojtaba Dabir in Nowshahr, Majid Nazeran in Quchan, as well as Ramazan Deldadeh and five other prisoners in Birjand who were mentioned in a previous statement.
On Monday, December 8, thirteen prisoners were executed, including: Sattar Zahedi-Far in Gonabad, Esfandiar Razzaghi in Esfarayen, and Habib Faridi, 30, and Fardin Rezaei, 37, in Isfahan. The names of the remaining victims were mentioned in a previous statement.
On Saturday, December 13, another group of prisoners was executed, including a female prisoner in Urmia named Sedigheh Ghorbani. The names of the other victims will be announced after verification.
Additionally, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, Kaveh Ahmadzadeh, a political prisoner, died in Bukan Central Prison. He suffered a cardiac arrest and died due to a lack of timely medical attention and a delayed transfer to the hospital.
