India are set to meet Pakistan in a key Group A match of the U19 Men’s Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, December 14, at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

India Under-19s opened their Asia Cup campaign with a commanding 234-run win over the UAE, powered by Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s blistering hundred off 56 balls. A towering total of 433/6 was posted with solid support from Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra, who scored 69 each. In reply, the UAE were restricted to 199/7, with Deepesh Devendran, Khilan Patel and Henil Patel among the wickets. Suryavanshi was named the Player of the Match.

Pakistan Under-19s began their tournament with a one-sided victory, overwhelming Malaysia by a margin of 297 runs. A superb unbeaten 177 from Sameer Minhas, combined with a fluent 132 by Ahmed Hussain, lifted Pakistan to 345 for three. Malaysia’s chase never took off, folding for 48, with Ali Raza, Mohammad Sayyam and Daniyal Ali Khan leading the bowling effort. Minhas was rewarded with the Player of the Match award for his outstanding innings.
