I am from the U.S. and keep seeing these racist pictures pop on X and other platforms, looks like it’s a big deal, I was wondering where this originated from, never would’ve expected it’s from Finland, every country has its racist morons, there even seems to be a lot of hate being directed towards Finland now due to actions of these few idiots, these pictures have gone viral everywhere, these idiots soon probably will be on a apology tour, I don’t understand why people do these types of racist acts in front a camera where they know it might get posted on the internet for the whole world to see, what a disgrace


  13. Half Asian and when I was living in Finland for a few years I personally didn’t experience any discernible racism whatsoever.

    I did become slightly racist towards Romanian beggars though.

    Seriously, these people are intellectually at the level of a second-grader. Bute even the second-graders have a moral compass that, when challenged, tells them that it wasn’t okay to make fun at other people. It takes special kind of nastiness at the core to forget everything that makes you a human and simply see an opportunity to try to make divisive politics aimed at eroding trust in the very institutions you should be representing.

As a Chinese person living in Denmark I can confirm this behavior is discriminatory and to me personally, living within a predominantly ‘white’ culture that exotify Asian culture, this is not uncommon and makes me uncomfortable being an ‘alien’ in my own home. I realize that technically they are simply trying to look like how most people in the world look like and they themselves is the global minority but still it kinda sucks right?

Petteri Orpo is 1000% to blame for this: he’s enabled the PS and traded morality and common decency for cuts into poor peoples and workers rights, benefits for private corporations and generally doing what EK wants. He could have put an end to this if he’d had even an inkling of balls but I guess he didn’t have his own one’s ever drop down into the scrotum so I guess it’s impossible to grow a pair if they haven’t dropped in the first place.
