Waymo cars in apparent ‘standoff’ cause traffic jam in San Francisco

A video from Saturday captured three Whimo self-driving cars frozen in an apparent standoff on a residential street in San Francisco. Whimo has said it is issuing a voluntary software recall in its self-driving vehicles after a series of close call incidents, including an illegal maneuver of passing a stopped school bus.

There was one everywhere I loooked when I was in San Francisco a couple months ago. I said these jokers are everywhere. If they can survive San Fran traffic and all those hills and valleys., they definitely can handle Atlanta.

  2. These things woule never survive long in some cities. Chicago, NYC, Boston… if these were in a stand-off like this and there were some locals stuck in traffic because of them…
