  5. Probably a symptom of increasing loneliness, difficulty meeting new people, mental health issues, lack of third places etc.

    People finding it difficult to make connections in real life look for alternative solutions, which the parasocial nature of onlyfans offers.

  23. Finland needs collective therapy. It’s a dysfunctional society: People are cold and selfish, many have low self-esteem and lack manners. Most Finns are avoidant and don’t know how to form deep relationships. Many are alcoholics, loners, etc.

    It’s depressing..

  29. I posted a while ago about the rising loneliness in Finland or Scandinavia in general. Quick to say that there’s nothing wrong with it but when articles like this come up it’s always talking about the loneliness epidemic here
