While like all Belgians I criticize our governments, we have probably the best social system in the world. Even the French pale in comparison. I just went to the neurologist, 10 euros.
Monthly payment of nothing at all. Our higher education is cheap, in the Scandinavian countries people get loans to pay their studies.
So yeah there’s too much fat and politicians, but Belgium is one of the least unequal countries in the world and that’s due to our taxes on a big way.
