A male has been rushed to the hospital following a stabbing in Scarborough on Sunday night.

The incident happened in the Tam O’Shanter-Sullian neighbourhood, at a high-rise apartment building at 30 Carabob Ct., which is near Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East.

Toronto police said they were called to that area just before 9:20 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

At the scene, officers found a male with a stab wound. He was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

A suspect is outstanding.

He is described by police as a brown male, 25 to 30 years old and standing five-foot-seven with short facial hair, and last seen wearing a black jacket
