Today is the last day for musicians to apply to represent Belgium at Eurovision Young Musicians 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Today is the last day for young musicians to apply to compete in the Belgian selection for Eurovision Young Musicians. The application window opened on October 17 and will close today at midnight. Some of the selection rules are as follows:

Applicants must be aged between 12-21 on June 6, 2026.
Applicants must be Belgian nationals or be resident in Belgium for at least two years.
Applicants who are under 18 must get permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
Applicants must send a video of themselves performing the solo part of an classical orchestral piece.
Performances must be between 5-6:30 minutes. Any performance that does not meet this criteria will be disqualified.

Applications are to be sent to infomusiq3@rtbf.be.

A jury between three to five members will review all applications and choose a number of performers to advance to the national final on January 26 in the Flagey Arts Centre in Brussels. The finalists will perform their chosen pieces with piano accompaniment. A jury will decide which of the finalists will represent Belgium in Eurovision Young Musicians 2026 in Yerevan.
