I feel like I’m missing something here. Why would a 34 billion dollar global yearly revenue before taxes, spread over several companies, be obscenely large? I get that it would be morally better to produce and distribute the vaccine for free, but for private companies that aren’t philantropic that revenue doesn’t really seem out of proportion. For comparison, Apple made 137.7 billion dollar with the iphone in 2020 alone.
I think this a bot post, based on the history.
Lol if you’re going to express revenues of companies per second, you can make everything seem crazy.
“Facebook earns 2.700 dollar per second by showing ads to users”.
Who would have thought if you transform annual revenue to seconds, you can make things sound scary?
