Bohemians will return to the Aviva Stadium on the opening weekend of the 2026 League of Ireland season for a Dublin derby with St Patrick’s Athletic.

The Irish Independent reported last month that the Gypsies were considering a repeat of last February when they moved their first league fixture to Dublin 4; the meeting with Shamrock Rovers attracted an all-time record crowd of 33,208 and earned Bohs in the region of €250,000.
