  1. What the actual fuck man! Can this world get any worse? (Please don’t answer that)

  2. Well fuck. I was really hoping it wasn’t their son but there it is. What a goddamn tragedy.

  3. Is this confirmed? Wow this escalated quickly.

  4. Journalism has really dropped any standards at people, what kind of print writer forgets adding a main suspect, alleged, found at the crime scene. Nope – sources say he killed them. Case closed

  5. This is so tragic. In the article it says that Nick suffered from addiction. I can’t imagine being his two siblings, having to live in this horrendous reality.

  6. A guy on X posted a couple hours ago that he is very good friends with someone who is close to them and that it was the son. Hours ago he said that. So awful. Such a brilliant talent and everyone said he and his wife were kind people.

  7. When i frist read that it was his son i thought was immediately,” Damnit, some true crime production company going to exploit this in a year for cheep veiws aren’t they?” and i hate that was my frist thought as it shouldn’t be that way

  8. I’m so grateful that Rob’s father passed before this tragedy. Holy shit this is beyond sad.

  9. Damn that is awful to hear. I just rewatched the Wolf on Wall Street last night and was thinking Rob is so hilarious. RIP

  10. What a tragic end to an incredible talent and the absolute horror that he and his wife endured. The news is just too awful these last few days.

  11. Losing your life to your child that you raised all their life is the most disgusting irony ever. Rest in peace to them

  12. Deeply shocked and saddened to hear of this horrific tragedy tonight… 💔😢 I’ve loved Rob Reiner since he was the meathead in the classic sitcom All in the Family and have followed his work as a renowned and prolific director ever since. He will be sorely missed, but will live on forever in our hearts and memories as the irrepressible, implacable liberal Mike “Meathead” Stivic as well as through his vast body of cinematic works… 🥰🥰 My deepest condolences to his family and countless friends, and may he and his wife rest in peace… ♥️🙏🏻🕯️🕯️

  13. Back in the 1970’s, Rob played with the Happy Days cast in a charity softball game. I met him in the hotel lobby and he was kind enough to pose
for a photo even though he was hot and sweaty from the game.

  14. What the fuck? This was awful and now it’s beyond fucking awful.

  15. I feel so bad for their daughter, in one night she loses her entire family and she found their bodies

  16. Sadly makes sense. Statistically in home robberies a burglar who has no connection to the victims is either going to have something like a gun or they’ll just flee when they realize someone’s home.

    Stabbings are personal.

  17. I’m betting that since Rob didn’t support Nick’s addictive behavior, seeds of resentment had grown. They even made a movie about it together, and it seemed old wounds were healed. Guess not.

Sadly it’s so typical for addicts to blame friends and family for their issues, while failing to look inward. We lost an amazing human today, because of this disconnect.

  18. It’s the new synthetic drugs like street fentanyl and the new meth. Makes people go crazy. The hard drugs these days are super dangerous and cause psychosis.

  19. What a horrific, terribly tragic headline.

There are no words for what must’ve gone through their heads as their own child was murdering them.

  20. No suspects, no arrests, nobody detained, nobody interviewed per press conference

  21. There was an opera singer who was stabbed & killed by his son in Santa Monica just a week ago. Not a good trend.

  22. I have had enough. Just when you think things may turn around you get this news and also Bondi news. Why the fuck does this happen. I have had enough

  23. I think that Libel laws are played by ear. And if a company wants to take a leap and say he’s a murderer they must have the scoop. Or else the kid will de proved innocent and hell sue them.

  24. I went to his X account and as of right now there are almost 1000 comments mostly from right wingers celebrating his murder. The same sickos who lectured people over Charlie Kirk. It’s disgusting that anyone celebrates someone’s murder. I don’t care what side of the political aisle you are from. I’m so tired of the discourse in this country it sickens me to my core.

  25. Fuck this is heart breaking. Just watched the new spinal tap last night. RIP legend. Your legacy is eternal.

  26. Goddamn, I was just watching Spinal Tap today too. RIP

  27. So far, People is the only outlet reporting that Reiner’s son is the suspected murderer. It’s interesting that no other publications are reporting on that at this time.

  28. The son killed them is a bigger tragedy than a stranger wth is going on

  29. All that the article says is that he’s being questioned…

  30. If true, it is somehow much more tragic than if a stranger had committed these crimes.I read the first headlines and was like, ‘oh no.’ Then I read People and a few other news junkets and I was like “OHHHHH NOOOOO WHATTTT???!!!” Tragic, tragic, tragic … and especially since their daughter reportedly made the discovery. 😔😔😟😟😟😥😥😥😿😿😿

  31. Damn, Southpark called another one. Rob Reiner died from being stabbed during his South Park episode.

  32. There are few things more unnerving to me than the concept of bringing your own murderer into the world.

  33. It is absolutely bonkers that there is no “allegedly” here. Either this story is a mockup/prank or there were no editors on duty when an intern or AI spewed this out. Doesn’t matter if there source was in the room when it happened. Or if they bumped into him coming out with a bloody knife. It’s ALLEGED until a court of law or whatever legal case has to be closed says otherwise. I’ve covered crime for 25 years.
