It’s pointless having a legal and justice system if the prisoners can just choose to not eat and get released. They are part of a registered terror group, they are awaiting trial over violent disorder, damage to military equipment. criminal damage and aggravated burglary.

Ultimately they’re only being held on remand because nobody is convinced that they would be convicted in a jury trial. So the state is using remand as a way of punishing people without a fair trial, which should worry everyone.
