Attorney discovers secret ‘watch list’ for immigration lawyers

Al Otro Lado, an immigration advocacy group, said it has found what appears to be a hidden “watch list” on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement government website, according to WGNO.
Arlene Amarante, who is based in Tennessee, said she is one of the attorneys on the list. The group has filed a Freedom of Information Act request for more information about the list, according to WGNO.
Amarante said she discovered her name on the list while trying to confirm with ICE that she was representing a particular client, according to WGNO. Since its discovery, ICE has removed the list from its website, WGNO reports.
