President Donald Trump is planning a visit to North Carolina this week, according to former Republican National Committee leader Michael Whatley.
Trump will speak in Rocky Mount at the Rocky Mount Event Center on Friday night. Doors are set to open at 6 p.m.
Whatley, who led the RNC until August, is seeking the Republican nomination for the state’s U.S. Senate race next year. Trump has endorsed Whatley’s bid.
Don Brown and Richard Dansie also are vying for the GOP nomination.
