  1. As a european, I’m starting to think we should maybe thank him for trying to decouple the EU from the US as he sets the stage for possibly the worst US economic debacle in decades.

  2. I wouldn’t say Canada is “thriving” lol. I mean maybe slightly better than last year but nothing insane

  3. He works for russia and china, all he ever done since the 80s was for the benefit of communist dictatorships, he even bailed out argentina so china could buy more cheap soy while american farmers go bankrupt

  4. Who would have thought that the guy who hired a ghostwriter to write “Art of the Deal” didn’t actually know how to make a deal…..

  5. Oh boy I can’t wait to live with the fallout of this pedophiles moronic policies for decades

  6. Didn’t one of his old professors from the Warton School of business say Trump was the dumbest student he ever taught?

  7. Remember when Republicans raised taxes on almost everything and the dumb fucks that voted for them cheered?

  8. Seven, including the one that’s now underway: the United States of America.

  9. Even though we are/were a major consumer the rest of the world has figured out that we can be replaced. In fact they are finding out that it’s better to trade with many countries than just one big one. He is an ass clown that cannot manage a lemonade stand.

  10. “But but but he’s running the country like his businesses!”

    🤪

  11. India too, it had Q4 gdp growth of 8.2% this year. No trade deal in sight yet, and 50% tariffs are still in place.

  12. China is outpacing the US in nearly every modern technological field or industry due directly to Trump and his administration’s policies.

His tariff policies and trade wars are alienating allies who are turning to China for trade. This is partly why China just reached a milestone of an over $1 trillion trade surplus.

Trump’s tariffs are also hurting domestic industries, adding substantially to the deficit and passing costs down to American consumers and businesses.

In almost every case, Trump’s tariffs are acting as a regressive tax against low income and working-class Americans, and most American companies can no longer “eat” the costs associated with his tariffs.

Worse yet, his administration’s roll back of EPA regulations, and its focus on reversing decades worth of scientific innovation, progress and advancements in renewable energy, the electric vehicle industry and adjacent technologies is undermining our global competitiveness, Not excluding massive funding cuts to scientific and medical research, vaccine development, and research into infectious diseases and chronic and congenital illnesses.

Trump is also risking our global advantage by defunding or dismantling multiple agencies responsible for protecting the environment and maintaining public health and safety.

This shift is happening because of Trump, and not in spite of his efforts. Especially as he continues to escalate both economic and diplomatic tensions between the US, its allies, its foreign competitors and trade partners.

To make matters worse, most economic experts explain that we’re currently in a dot-com era bubble because AI companies are extremely overvalued and the industry itself accounts for a vast portion of the country’s GDP.

And keep in mind that Trump has no inherent knowledge of these impending risks, nor concern for these growing problems—he’s too busy taking bribes, lavish gifts, crypto investments, political and financial contributions from foreign governments, monarchs, petro-fascists, technocrats, billionaires, and rich benefactors in exchange for political favors, lax regulations, and influence and access to the president.

Yes, while Americans suffer under the economic tyranny of a kleptocratic administration, Trump is monetizing the presidency to the tune of billions, pursuing personal business deals overseas, and pushing crypto friendly policies and scams on the public that benefit him financially.

Let’s not forget the meticulous attention he’s giving towards his vanity projects; demolishing the White House to make way for his increasingly expensive and hideously gilded “ballroom” styled after his Mar-a-Lago residence, and all while Americans struggle financially due to some of his own policies.

  13. What’s happening is what was supposed to happen. Yeah, it’s not what they told us was supposed to happen because you can’t say, “We’re going to destroy the middle class and make a permanent class of peasants under your rightful lords, the billionaires.” You can’t look at what’s going on and come up with a better way to destroy the economy and just wreck any wealth held by all but the richest.

  14. As a family who purchased every major furniture item in our house from 100% US craftsmen- mostly local to our State… I’ve spent more $ than ever on Chinese goods this year 🤷🏻‍♀️

  15. Remember when Napoleon embargoed Britain to try and cripple their economy, and they just continued to make money, and Napoleon’s empire started to crumble? Just thought I’d bring it up. No reason

  16. “Who’s the more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him?”

  17. The last thing id ever do is take Chinas numbers are face value, they are as bad as the US at fudging them. No one would trust Putins numbers, why Xis?

  18. Trump’s tariffs are, were, always have been, and always will be… About hurting America for his buddies. that’s it. His family gets rich, and his buddies get more power. It really is that simple. Trump has no loyalties, so patriotism is lost on him.

  19. Canada is thriving? Most of us are still trying to stay afloat after all the grocery and cost of living inflation.

  20. Yay Canada! 🇨🇦 elbows up!! We may be polite, but we are petty as fuck and we will NEVER let this 51st state shit go.

  21. Way to go trunt. He just helped the world find out it doesn’t need America’s consumerism to sustain themselves.

  22. I’m really looking forward to the 10 years of documentaries and movies that are gonna explain the breakdowns of how someone that I was so bad at business only had to say I’m good at business and people believed him

  23. Canadian Here: We are NOT thriving. Not sure what gave OP that idea. Things are proper fucked here economically.

  24. Remember when Canadian politicians were all “cHinA bAd” and tried to throw Mexico under the bus and suggested that Mexico to be cut from the North America trade deal due to being “the backdoor for China”?

    Pepper ridge farm remembers.

  25. But.. but..he said, We were winning the trade wars with his superior brain power to make deals! Please tell me he didn’t (dare I say) lie to us?

  26. It’s probably because all we can afford at the moment is cheap Chinese tat. I did some calculations and a minimum wage worker in my city, after paying rent, water, council tax, gas, electricity (the cheapest I could find) are left with roughly £175 a week (£25 a day) for food, clothing, mobile, internet, travel and entertainment. God help you if you smoke, drink alcohol or indulge in recreational drugs. Not to mention you should be putting away money to buy a home with a mortgage but how long will that take to save for the deposit with figures like this?

  27. I dont think China really found a better way to sell their goods. I think trump just shotgunned both of the US’ feet off by being the imbecile he is so everyone else just shifted away from the US giving China more business with less competition. It’s a classic case of do nothing and win because your rival fucks everything up for themselves

  28. This is what happens when you surround yourself with “yes” people. Who are more focused on pleasing their boss, than doing what’s actually the right thing.

We live in the dumbest timeline of history.
