Nobody wants to step forward’: Tory rebels fear failure to organise plot will let Boris Johnson escape leadership vote

  1. Shame that the needs of the populace are always at risk of never being addressed whilst political gamesmanship reigns supreme as though it were actually an effort.

How many UK residents will heat-exhaust, freeze to death, starve to death, or merely die from exposure to the elements this next year? Looks like our politicians are willing to risk all but the 1% on the likely outcome.

Good luck out there, and may god bless because UK politicians and Boris could give a good shit about you all.

  2. Spineless, toadying sycophants don’t have the guts to challenge the floppy-haired bully? Who saw that coming?

  3. It’s almost like the conservative party as a whole has become a Party of snivelling, whining babies. Trust that someone like Boris ends up in charge of them.

    The leader reflects the led.

  4. Johnson wanted to have the title of Prime Minister but has shown little interest in doing the job itself. He has succeeded in making it an even worse position to inherit though. I don’t blame people for not wanting to be the PM in charge of the post-lockdown recovery, a cost of living crisis and the early stages of Brexit. People would rather by the next United manager than the next PM.

  5. In the Sink or Swim game, this is the part where you sink.

Deciding not to decide is still a decision…. that will have to be lived with.

Best of luck on that one.
