As it should since oil and gas companies are a cornerstone of the emissions of excess CO2 causing climate change. Without the extraction and combustion of fossil fuels we would emit significantly less carbon.
No exception especially for unfriendly countries
According to ‘Advancing Climate Solutions’ document on Exxon Mobil’s web site, the company is doing such great job on reducing methane emissions that this law should actually benefit them!
