Claire Mackie-Brown is, to be fair, one of the thickest politicians ever to hold the role of councillor. And that’s a tough field.
She’s a grubby opportunist without any particular ideology, unless thickness is now an ideology.
She will attach herself to anything to get her gob in the press and doesn’t really care about what the message is she attaching herself to. A couple of weeks back in a ohoto-op she attached herself to the Denny lads who were filmed singing Last Xmas on that ring clip…..who are not in her ward and live about as far away as possible in the council area from her stomping grounds of Upper Braes ward.
That is what we are up against here. Thick people. Opporunists. People who don’t really care what damage is done by their actions as long as it advances them personally.
I find it funny that they always call themselves the majority then share pictures of all 20-30 of them. With around 5 teeth, and the same number of brain cells, between them.
Just like all the anti gay politicians in the US who end up being exposed at gay orgies all these folks porn searches are black and ethnic.
If Reform want to continue going about the place spreading hate and vitriol, they should not be surprised when they are destroyed for it.

I remember him coming into the store I worked in about 30 years ago and getting the young lass he was seeing, who he got hooked on heroin, to steal money from the till for him to buy smack.

They cannot be Scottish because (in their view) Scottish national identity is based on “ancestral ties”.
I don’t agree with them but I do think people can feel a strong connection to their “ancestral” homeland. If I moved to the USA, I would always consider myself Scottish. Sure, I could be American on paper but I’d still feel Scottish first.
In the end it’s a very individual matter. Cllr Mackie-Brown is just a total grifter though.
